Just to reconfirm the comment: Steve Gibbs made the comment when TW was coming on as sub v Woking on Boxing Day.Localshot wrote: ↑Mon Feb 17, 2025 10:54 amThat is a disgusting comment! I have never toed the party line and indeed my help at the club was ended by an individual when I stood up for the supporters against an employee.lowerbourneshot wrote: ↑Sun Feb 16, 2025 6:42 pmBow to what you like ,I was shocked by what he said . It was The Woking game he said it and even worralls tongue was up Gibbs backside in agreement. We know you were involved in the club and you will toe the party line .

Difficult night Tommy which really puts the club in a precarious position with regards to the possibility of relegation. This obviously would be catastrophic for the club and it's supporters so my question is "What can the management team do to safeguard our survival and do you believe we have the physical strength and mentality in the team to survive the drop."

Most supporters were worried about this side after Tommy re-signed players that were poor last season and didn't replace those that moved on to better things.
Remembering this is a manager that said this squad was better than last season's and that Corbett was a better finisher than Tolaj.
No the players aren't physically or mentally strong enough and they're not good enough.
We have to hope there are 4 teams worse than us.
If we lose tomorrow night Azeem can sack Widdrington and he can walk home

Ironically 12 years ago at Roots Hall we had a conversation about Holdsworth being sacked after the game only for us to go and win 2-1 and the BOD deciding to give him more time.SteveyAsp wrote: ↑Mon Feb 17, 2025 5:08 pmHope and praybrian bloomfield wrote:Question after Southend if we loose

Sonny Bradley got the winner just before full time. We actually played well on the night.

Tommy has to say these things though steve . If we look like going down he'll walk . Relegation on a CV looks bad .SteveyAsp wrote: ↑Mon Feb 17, 2025 5:08 pmHope and praybrian bloomfield wrote:Question after Southend if we loose

You shouldn't sack a manager after one game but after a decline covering a period of time. We sacked him too late ( 34 off 33 ) and Scott got 14 off 13.
No point sacking TW now but he needs to accept we are in a relegation battle.

If anyone thinks that we’re not in a relegation dog fight then I’m afraid they have kangaroos
running around their loft

It's absolutely worth it....The players are too comfortable with TW.Josh wrote:brian bloomfield wrote: ↑Mon Feb 17, 2025 5:18 pmIronically 12 years ago at Roots Hall we had a conversation about Holdsworth being sacked after the game only for us to go and win 2-1 and the BOD deciding to give him more time.SteveyAsp wrote: ↑Mon Feb 17, 2025 5:08 pm Hope and praybecause if after 29 games you're still struggling then there'll little hope of much improvement before the end of the season.

It needs someone to come in and tell them they are playing for their contracts next season.
Most probably know they'll get a new deal under Widdrington

100% agree. Too many chums/favorites/KL pals who know they'll always get picked, whatever happens.SteveyAsp wrote: ↑Mon Feb 17, 2025 6:51 pmIt's absolutely worth it....The players are too comfortable with TW.Josh wrote:brian bloomfield wrote: ↑Mon Feb 17, 2025 5:18 pm

Must be incredibly dispiriting playing in these conditions, if you're not one of the favoured circle.
Fully expect most of our best players to leave in the summer, if they get an opportunity (and they probably will!)
Re: Post-Match Interview
Well, I’m none the wiser why we’re so crap.
