We aren't playing players in best positions to give us a chance and occasionally decent players left out. I'm afraid most clubs in this situation change manager and as much as that pains me ,with the repetitive errors it's time to change. It all needs a shake up. Who would be a decent replacement?
Reg, no one is going to walk away from a residual contract worth about 100k - money that the club doesn't have.

You can manage game time by soft training to ease up on the body. Problem we have Steve is a lightweight squad with not enough strength. Tuesday will tell us a lot about the clubs ability to bounce back from a very disappointing performance. We can do another Oldham :D

You get the impression someone upstairs wants this club to go down, strange team selections plus having a run in a totally meaningless cup and I thought the Hampshire cup was meaningless but it seems like the World Cup compared to that other thing, what’s sittinbourne gonna produce I wonder?

It would be nice if the chairman came out and explained the current situation. Are we where we are meant to be? How does our budget compare to other clubs? If we have ambitions to get in the Football League why are we in a relegation battle?

He’s already sowing the seeds for that one. Going on in his interview yesterday about going strong in four competitions…

Think its slim pickings in terms of out of work managers, very interested to see how many applicants applied last time. Years ago we used to be flooded with applicants, not sure that's the case these days. I'd love to see us get a manager who doesnt take any crap in, who plays 442, with a big bruiser at the back, and a big target man up top with exciting wingers.

It's a nice dream but doubt we'll see it

Genuine question ... did he really tell us how great the NL Cup was?

Football changes very quickly , it was only 4 games ago when i was at Oldham watching the jubilation of the great win at Boundary Park and now this 😞. We have proved we have the players to turn this around , after all the good times he’s given us , i think Tommy deserves a bit more time before he’s thrown on the scrapheap.

Seems like Alex was right (although I believe we’re not quite in the drop zone?). Some apologies are maybe required.

If the unthinkable happens and TW does go, who would people want to see in his place?
....Drop zone ?, it's called relegation places in the UK, we ain't in the USA.

I think all of us are really concerned that the team just didn't show up. Games like this can happen but people's patience is being more than tested.

If I was cynical I might suggest as they're classed as first team games it's to keep the managers win ratio up Image
