To be honest, we were second best for a good two thirds of the game. First 20/25 mins we were ok, but once they got the first goal, we were simply not good enough to get anything out of it.
No player had a spectacular game, but in fairness to them, the way the manager sets the team up, leaves them vulnerable. The one thing that shocked me was how Corbett put a good ball through for Tyler, only for him to give up when he should’ve kept going.
I will keep supporting this team for as long as it takes, but it certainly doesn’t look good for us.
One last thing, well done to the shots fans, they turned out in numbers despite the poor season & for having a sense of humour with our demise with that song about the Hampshire Cup

I left on 80 minutes, normally try to see the positive side of things but that was dire.
Created absolutely nothing at all. Ryan Jones was our best player through November and December but now can't get a look in because for some reason we needed Tyler Frost to get minutes on the left wing.
I know not all of you were fans but the gap between Ashley Akpan and Aaron Jones is a chasm. Sorry but the bloke can't get across the half-way line in any meaningful sense and it's not like he makes up for it defensively. So now we're down our two best wide threats, one through choice and one through season ending injury. If we aren't going to make anything wide then it's back to hoping Henry or Barrett can conjure something out of nothing.
Have to hope Tetek's just had the flu or something, I've never seen a team need a player so badly. The good form coincided with him playing.

If it’s for what I saw as I was walking out, I don’t blame him for having a go back . Those dins (not youngsters) gobbing off like they were, deserved what they got.

All the while the club is being run into the ground, we'll continue to be sh*t.

Frosty had a rare stinker today but I would never question his commitment. The guy needs to start on the right instead of AJ on Tuesday. Aaron was piss poor and his attitude to some rightfully angry fans at the end was unacceptable.Banbury Shot wrote: ↑Sat Feb 15, 2025 6:22 pmSpot on!Weybourne Shot wrote: ↑Sat Feb 15, 2025 6:13 pm If we start turning on players such as Tyler Frost then we really do have problems.
Cam Hargreaves also got embroiled with fans on the terrace singing a song (about us going down but winning the Hampshire Cup).
The biggest cheer of the day was for Theo's substitution, his performance was verging on comical at times.
Enough is enough. That performance was utterly gutless and that is on the manager. We're incapable of winning league games. It's time for change before it's too late.

yea it's not his fault he's been stuck on the left. but he should be on the right and ryan on the left. no reason not to do that.chimpster99 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 15, 2025 7:03 pmFrosty had a rare stinker today but I would never question his commitment. How can anyone defend a performance like that ?Hanys derby, relegation struggle and we barely managed a shot all afternoon .Jones should not, as captain,be responding to some of the 700+ away fans who have spent their money to follow us in 19th position .The performance is indefensible

Not defending the performance, but I saw a lot of abuse being shouted by a few fans, the players don’t deserve that.Alf W wrote: ↑Sat Feb 15, 2025 7:09 pmGraham Stovold wrote: ↑Sat Feb 15, 2025 6:58 pmIf it’s for what I saw as I was walking out, I don’t blame him for having a go back . I’ve never felt so disconnected to the club. It feels like I don’t know her anymore and the feelings I used to have are rapidly disappearing.

Is the club being run into the ground deliberately, debts, awful team, mythical lease and a pitch that can't be used for football but an ideal plot of building land.Aldershot_Rob wrote: ↑Sat Feb 15, 2025 7:00 pm All the while the club is being run into the ground, we'll continue to be sh*t.

Ok, we agree to differ. As captain , I think he should have ignored it and left the pitch. The ‘performance’ has gone up there with the worst this season .Graham Stovold wrote: ↑Sat Feb 15, 2025 7:13 pmNot defending the performance, but I saw a lot of abuse being shouted by a few fans, the players don’t deserve that.Alf W wrote: ↑Sat Feb 15, 2025 7:09 pmGraham Stovold wrote: ↑Sat Feb 15, 2025 6:58 pm
