Rob is quite right, we have had most of the ball just failing to get in that final pass, Theo at fault for 2nd goal, he needs replacing at HT.lowerbourneshot wrote: ↑Sat Feb 15, 2025 3:40 pm Yep being told by people at the ground we're awful . Yet Rob tells us we're controlling the game

To be fair to Rob, we probably were controlling the game for the first 29mins, in the sense of we had the lions share of possession and most of it was in their half of the pitch. However, we did very little with it. I don't recall ever really thinking we would score during that period.lowerbourneshot wrote: ↑Sat Feb 15, 2025 3:40 pm Yep being told by people at the ground we're awful . Then we conspired to gift them a goal within 20 seconds of having an attacking throw in line with their penalty area and then Theo (who has again contributed absolutely nothing to this side) has allowed their player all the time in the world to slot in number 2.
I'll say again, as I said in a previous thread about Theo, not only does he contribute so little, but he causes other problems too. I think part of the reason for our lack of doing anything meaningful in that first 29mins is because our team looks so unbalanced and I believe that partly to be because Tommy is so desperate to include Theo that other players either miss out or are shoehorned into positions and a formation that doesn't suit.
I certainly feel our safety is more reliant on others, because we certainly aren't helping ourselves. Yet more frustration on a Saturday afternoon.

2 people with the same name so it was a genuine question question asking which one, not to tricky in my little bookbeechcroft wrote: ↑Sat Feb 15, 2025 3:22 pmJust because i posted about people getting wound up over nothing..i.e who's on comms today, even if you found that tedious tripe,(not really sure how you come to that conclusion, but never mind ) doesn't mean you have to go so low as name calling ,really not called for don't you think !Turnkey wrote: ↑Sat Feb 15, 2025 2:54 pmStop posting tedious tripe then the names won’t get called. Watching on a stream as out the country, that was awful, we can pass it around ok, but no cutting edge at all

Two weeks on the training ground and Widdrington produces this tactical masterclass.

How will “don’t doubt me” respond to his son’s latest error?

He's quite wrong. We barely had a shot in that spell. It was dull before they scoredsupershots wrote: ↑Sat Feb 15, 2025 3:59 pmRob is quite right, we have had most of the ball just failing to get in that final pass, Theo at fault for 2nd goal, he needs replacing at HT.lowerbourneshot wrote: ↑Sat Feb 15, 2025 3:40 pm Yep being told by people at the ground we're awful . We had more posession but a poor first 30 without really troubling Eastleigh. We are very weak in the middle and lack leaders on the pitch.

How bad is Theo, don’t think he’d even get in a farnham town side!
