I’d wager if there was no restriction on tickets we wouldn’t have taken anywhere near 200 for what seems a pretty unattractive day out, but now it appears everyone wants to go.
There arn't many cases of away ties in the FA Trophy where the away numbers have been given, the only cases are last season when we were away Eastleigh and Bishop's Stortford in the early rounds, both unattractive like Sittingbourne but the away support at both was over 400.

I await your retraction.
You’ll wait a while I’m afraid. Eastleigh would always attract numbers, and BS is a decent day out. From what I see, Sittingbourne is an awful ground, in the middle of nowhere with poor transport links and no pubs. This is clearly a game for the diehards and I stand by my comment about not taking 200.

I do agree with you regard re the Away Travel group though, up until a couple of years ago I didn’t miss a game, home and away including friendlies, for 10 years. I travelled independently all those times and I would be fuming if a group had been given priority over tickets in that time. There should be no exceptions, ST holders that want a ticket should go in a ballot, then the rest on general sale. I’ll wager now, everyone who travels on that bus will get a ticket.

Ridiculous the Away Travel Group being allocated some tickets. They are no better or different than the rest of us.

All supporters are equal.

Does the away travel group have an affiliation with the club?

You know it makes sense
25 years of season tickets to watch the Shots?! You actually get less for murder these days.

I'm literally down the road from Sittingbourne but after seeing where their stadium is, and the state of it, I'm not going to lose any sleep over the clubs decision to prioritise ST holders and Away travel group customers.

I naively thought they still played at the Central Park stadium (the dog track). If H&S is a concern, it is a shame that an alternative ground couldn't be found.

No affiliation at all, if they had one it would be mentioned in the programme.

This has been caused because the organiser of the Away Group is a volunteer at the club and does a lot of good work for the club, I would not complain if he was allocated a ticket before the ballot, but he should not be allowed to make certain that the other members get preferential treatment.

As I said before how many of the 195 tickets will actually make it into the ballot?

Surely moving the tie to say Maidstone or Ebbsfleet has to be tempting for the Sittingbourne board, even if the cost initially seems high the additional income would offset ot based on the interest from the Sittingbourne locals alone.

I agree it's going to be impossible to please everyone. Myself, I've been a season ticket holder for 30 years, and go to every away game I'm able to. Withe two young children currently my time needs to be balanced and as such I've been lucky to be at every home game (minus NL Cup), but in recent seasons I've had to sacrifice a lot of away games for family time, this season I've managed Oldham and Tadley, and that's been it. I would have made the effort to be free to go to Sittingbourne, but under the current rules which seem as fair they can be as long as conducted fairly, will more than likely miss out with others both more and less deserving than myself. It is what it is.

If I was Sittingbourne I'd quite rightly fancy my chances against us on my own patch.

Absolutely right, they’re under no obligation to make any other arrangements. They have Wembley in their sights.

yeah, if they can beat Southend away then Aldershot at home's a good chance to progress.

Also, do we know that they’re all ST holders?

Firstly of all the shots away group is a keen supporter and work with many organisation linked with the club. The club has done everything to the best of its ability to make this as fair as possible. Plus the list proved by the away group people will also need to be season ticket holders to get a chance of a ticket.

Arranging a stream and showing it in the EBB lounge would be good.

What on earth makes BS “a decent day out”?
