Sittingbournes has been reduced by 50%. And away support reduced to 195. Not their fault, but what is the point have having a set capacity which is ignored when it needs that capacity, due to H&S. What home match would attract 3000 home supporters only?East Kent Shots wrote: ↑Fri Feb 07, 2025 4:37 pmThat's a tad harsh isn't it? Margate would be no different, nor Deal Town Sheppey etc. It is a footballing miracle a club from that low down the pyramid has made the FAT quarter finals. Ground is just as big as others in the same league.margateshot wrote: ↑Fri Feb 07, 2025 4:06 pm I am amazed that the ground can be considered a suitable ground for this level of football. To have a capacity of just 1300, even at Sittingbournes level, is a farce. The chances of them meeting a NL or even NLS club in this round, that would attract a big following, or previous rounds was pretty high, and not having suitable facilities to host that club is shameful. Any number of clubs in the competition are more than capable of achieving a high attendance. 195 allocation must be a record low for us.

Tickets should go to all who witnessed Alex MacGregor's only headed goal.

I don’t think we can win here. However we allocate the tickets will upset someone. Good, clear and honest comms here.

Get their fingers out and organise live streaming, it could be quite a money spinner, only good outcome.

How many of our season ticket holders are under 16? Surely they can't be entered into this ballot as it stands? My 12 year old grandson who has a season ticket won't be going on his own that's for sure
and Richard Walden puts the Shots 1-0 up against Man Utd

Well I can't see a see a coach running for this game unless the organiser miraculously gets one in the ballot .

Yes I was looking at that . Worth paying £50 then a match ticket on top ? Still less than 3 home games for usEast Kent Shots wrote: ↑Fri Feb 07, 2025 4:44 pmHere's hopinglowerbourneshot wrote: ↑Fri Feb 07, 2025 4:39 pmYou'll get a ticket with your address I'd have thoughtEast Kent Shots wrote: ↑Fri Feb 07, 2025 4:37 pm

They've been very clever...rest of season ST went on sale day of draw. Reckon as soon as that ends tickets go on sale for ST only![]()

Has there been any confirmation from Sittingbourne that a 'rest of the season ST' would guarantee an FA Trophy ticket?
If so that's what I'll do...

Another example of how this hasn't been thought through properly by the club, as I have said above there are a number of steps that could have allowed a much fairer way of distributing tickets.Weybourne Shot wrote: ↑Fri Feb 07, 2025 6:28 pm How many of our season ticket holders are under 16? Perhaps they should have asked us first to give them some ideas of how the distribution should have been done.

Well I'd love to know how they do the ballot . Everybody's hand written name into a hat ? Or the first 195 names on the list ? All intriguing.A.T.F.C 92 wrote: ↑Fri Feb 07, 2025 7:43 pmControversiallowerbourneshot wrote: ↑Fri Feb 07, 2025 6:34 pm Well I can't see a see a coach running for this game unless the organiser miraculously gets one in the ballot .![]()
Re: 195 tickets for us at Sittingbourne!
Given how few tickets we are getting, I think priority should go those who: are over 75 years old, have had a season ticket for more than 25 seasons, who were actually born in Kent, whose wife was born in Kent, who said even before the draw they wanted Sittingbourne away, who frequently posts a load of bollox on Shotsweb, who thinks it's a mistake to view football as a business, who's a patronising pedant. You know it makes sense
Re: 195 tickets for us at Sittingbourne!
I would imagine sponsors etc will get a good few too
