Yes
Re: Stuttle gone
Am I the only one that thinks our management team had a good look at Stuttle and realised he wasn’t good enough.
The kid is a U21 player ffs, that means sweet fanny adam in terms of senior football. Fact is his CV will show he’s been tried at Step 5 and has subsequently dropped to Step 6. Shouts not good enough IMO.

His age has nothing to do with it , there all loads of players under 21 playing in the premieship and all the leagues below,Ian Rust wrote: ↑Thu Jan 30, 2025 8:24 pm Am I the only one that thinks our management team had a good look at Stuttle and realised he wasn’t good enough.

A lot of us could see this lad had something about him, but for some reason our management decided not to give him a decent enough chance
Re: Stuttle gone
It's a bit of a stetch to say he's been "tried" at step 5. How many starts did he get? One, was it? When he started at Oldham, he had a very decent stab at playing central striker, with plenty of hard running to keep the Oldham defence busy and an assist.Ian Rust wrote: ↑Thu Jan 30, 2025 8:24 pm Am I the only one that thinks our management team had a good look at Stuttle and realised he wasn’t good enough.

Did our management team really have "a good luck at Stuttle"? Really?

It shows its unlikely he will play in the top 2 divisions .Ian Rust wrote: ↑Thu Jan 30, 2025 8:24 pm Am I the only one that thinks our management team had a good look at Stuttle and realised he wasn’t good enough.

As if it hadn't happened.
Re: Stuttle gone
Not sure why we signed him then? Jamie Hedges said when we signed him that he was a player who had been on their radar. Holdsworth used to do this as well.Old Bob wrote: ↑Thu Jan 30, 2025 8:41 pmIt's a bit of a stetch to say he's been "tried" at step 5. How many starts did he get? One, was it? Only if you think Rusty is making a couple of good points, which I don't.lowerbourneshot wrote: ↑Thu Jan 30, 2025 9:30 pmIt shows its unlikely he will play in the top 2 divisions .Ian Rust wrote: ↑Thu Jan 30, 2025 8:24 pm Am I the only one that thinks our management team had a good look at Stuttle and realised he wasn’t good enough.

Who knows but those in charge obviously thought we had better options .Josh wrote: ↑Thu Jan 30, 2025 9:46 pmNot sure why we signed him then? Re: Stuttle gone
Those in charge also said "this is a better squad than last season" and considered Corbett a better finisher than Tolaj, based on the amount of games he plays Widdrington Jnr one of the best Midfield players at the club
