There's more than a few "Big Clubs" whose last title win is out of living memory-Preston, Sheffield Utd and Wednesday,WBA Huddersfield Newcastle Sunderland...Portsmouth last won it 75 years ago-there might be an ancient fan or two left-in fact I did know one but he passed about 15 years ago,,,,,,Burnley Spurs and Ipswich's win's are entering the out of living memory zone -all over 60 years ago-even Forest's win is now 47 years ago.......come to think of it; England's World Cup Win is getting close...
The difference being bar maybe Newcastle is the other clubs aren't talked about as title challenges like Spurs . I watched as rerun of Big match revisted yesterday from the 84 /85 . Manchester United v Spurs . Martyn Tyler described them as both title challengers 😆😆40 years later it's still tick tick tick
The top 2 that season was Everton and Liverpool, Tottenham and Manchester United ended up nowhere near the title
The same programme Sunderland defeated Norwich to go 12 unbeaten uncle Brian was getting excited . Sunderland won the next 2 games then blew up . Got to the league cup final but got relegated

Which ironically was also against Norwich, how I would like a domestic final involving those 2 again

Was watching MOTD2 today and Tomas Hitzlberger was talking about how the fans know best and when things need sorting. Reminded me of us on here and TW claiming far more intelligence when anyone dare question his personnel tactics.

Traco he built a new ground for his own success to get more money and forgot about the football.

Sounds similar, though we ( meaning ATFC) have nothing' at least they ( those from N17) have a ground. That you can watch a concert at and American football which seems quite well supported when played here and other events. Can't imagine seeing the patriots at the Ebb )
