Re: The pitch
Not just the pitch yesterday so noticeable but quite a few floodlight bulbs out too, it's quite sad to see the run down state of things at the EBB these days. How much longer can we keep going on patching things up in a stadium like this?

Re: The pitch
The Oldham win not backed up surprise surprise
Re: The pitch
Did anyone see the state of the scoreboard. The bottom line had only 3 correct words plus char presumably for charters Peugeot. All other words blank. Utterly pathetic
Re: The pitch

Interesting fact I recently discovered, the Empire State Building took 13 months to build.Mytshot wrote: ↑Sun Jan 26, 2025 11:07 amPatience. New stadium will be finished next year. Re: The pitch
If you revisit the development plan on the official site, brush off the cobwebs and you will see that Phase 1 is due to begin in 2025. So that’s all right, then, 11months within which to excavate the first forkful. Maybe the initial procurement and planning are secured…. but we wouldn’t know , anyway , would we?

Re: The pitch
This season communication from the club is zero so is it any wonder people give them stick they certainly don’t help themselves. I guess Shahid has a column in the programme and that’s enough.Wonder if there is any mention of the injury to Ellison as he has been mysteriously absent until yesterday doing some sprints with the physio.karlready wrote: ↑Sun Jan 26, 2025 11:38 am If you revisit the development plan on the official site, brush off the cobwebs and you will see that Phase 1 is due to begin in 2025. Re: The pitch
The pitch is struggling really bad, there has to be something going wrong somewhere for it to be in that condition. The Rec is really looking sorry for itself, without the volunteers I do wonder how much worse it would be on the eye.
Re: The pitch
It never ceases to amaze me that he uses the programme to communicate anything. How many people actually see that for gods sake!Steve Melledew wrote: ↑Sun Jan 26, 2025 1:04 pmThis season communication from the club is zero so is it any wonder people give them stick they certainly don’t help themselves. The guy is supposed to be in IT, how could anyone in that environment think that is a sensible way of communicating?
Why did they not communicate the crowd problems and fine through the programme? Oh that will be because they want to make sure we all know about it; and there I guess its the explanation for communicating in the programme
The club is a lost case with this current leadership I'm afraid

Re: The pitch
I would have thought the clubs fine was post programme printing deadline, so expect to see it in next Saturdays production. Anyway we shouldn't be printing now it should all be on-line.IanShots wrote: ↑Sun Jan 26, 2025 1:38 pmIt never ceases to amaze me that he uses the programme to communicate anything. Too many games, in too short a time in too poor weather. Simple as that.brian bloomfield wrote: ↑Sun Jan 26, 2025 1:34 pm The pitch is struggling really bad, there has to be something going wrong somewhere for it to be in that condition.
