This is Aldershot so we all know what's coming!Peter macdonald wrote: ↑Wed Jan 22, 2025 7:25 pmWould be extremely nice to justify the tremendous result at Oldham by defeating Tamworth on Saturday otherwise we’re back to square one

Indeed, that’s why Tamworth will be a lot tougher than people think unfortunately!Triggers Broom wrote: ↑Thu Jan 23, 2025 1:10 pmThis is Aldershot so we all know what's coming!Peter macdonald wrote: ↑Wed Jan 22, 2025 7:25 pmWould be extremely nice to justify the tremendous result at Oldham by defeating Tamworth on Saturday otherwise we’re back to square one

Tamworth ran us ragged in August ,we didn't have a clue how to stop them .Peter macdonald wrote: ↑Thu Jan 23, 2025 1:13 pmIndeed, that’s why Tamworth will be a lot tougher than people think unfortunately!Triggers Broom wrote: ↑Thu Jan 23, 2025 1:10 pmThis is Aldershot so we all know what's coming!Peter macdonald wrote: ↑Wed Jan 22, 2025 7:25 pm

Re: TW Interview
and it's not as if we slaughtered Oldham anyway, 3 goals from 3 shots is fun but not usually going to be a recipe for success. I think there's a bit of karmic payback for being unlucky in previous matches but I don't think anything is "fixed" necessarily. If we win it'll be fine because we've looked quite good in patches lately, if we lose it's no surprise either as we've been bad frequently, too.

Too many players went missing & didn’t fancy it if I remember correctly. The ones that did turn up, allowed themselves to get bullied.lowerbourneshot wrote: ↑Thu Jan 23, 2025 1:43 pmTamworth ran us ragged in August ,we didn't have a clue how to stop them .Peter macdonald wrote: ↑Thu Jan 23, 2025 1:13 pmIndeed, that’s why Tamworth will be a lot tougher than people think unfortunately!
Hopefully, they’ve grown a pair since then.
In my humble opinion..Just saying

My confidence levels on how we will play are determined by our team selection.Peter macdonald wrote: ↑Thu Jan 23, 2025 1:13 pmIndeed, that’s why Tamworth will be a lot tougher than people think unfortunately!Triggers Broom wrote: ↑Thu Jan 23, 2025 1:10 pmThis is Aldershot so we all know what's coming!Peter macdonald wrote: ↑Wed Jan 22, 2025 7:25 pm

Re: TW Interview
We could sign Rice and De Bruyne and Theo would still start....
Re: TW Interview
It’ll be an interesting clash of styles tmrw as if the away game is anything to go by, Tamworth will mainly bypass midfield and try to impose their physical, direct game.

Re: TW Interview
Tamworth have a style and a team that suits it. The ball is going to be coming in long and high. Going to be the old school rule of football where we are going to have to be first and second to everything. Tamworth are phyical and love a scrappy goal. our front 3 will need to be willing runners to press their defence, defintely a game for Barham.

I am sure he is not having a go at us supporters. I guess that you are just having a bad day at the office.
TW looked fit and well and in good form. Just hope that he does not over do his recovery.
