TW Interview
1. He asks for confirmation if we are in the last eight of the competition. A manager should know this, surely? Even if you have been off sick, as a manager you would keep your finger on the pulse
2. He has a swipe at fans. He says that Tetek is running on empty!
3. Quote 'Fans clamour for the team we should pick!" Pick your best players i.e. Dejan over your son

The comment about being in the last eight was nothing really, so I think you’re being too bothered about that!
Why would we keep picking Tetek if he’s ’running on empty’?
Sometimes I’ve been critical of TW for negatives chats and having a pop at supporters, but this interview seems fine to me.
Good to see and hear he’s back!

Re: TW Interview
Totally agree great to see Tommy back.
Re: TW Interview
Just watched the interview - not sure what your agenda is drewshot
Swipe at the fans - what he said was as the coaching and management team they have to manage the players, clearly they are in a better place to judge on fitness than we are. (Tetek and Jenkins)
We are out of the group stages, how many teams are left, does it matter.
Needless dig IMO

Re: TW Interview
No agenda. It's just that I felt he was having a go at the fans for their criticism about always picking Theo over Dejan. Maybe I read too much into it. Then again, maybe I didn't?

Re: TW Interview
No issues about the cup comments, even if you are aware of the format there was still a chance Wealdstone could have gone above us even with a win and Maidenhead still have a game to play. Tommy might not have been aware of other results yet.
As for Tetek, obviously I’d play him as much as I could. But There is a reason why Dejan is here and not somewhere else. As good as he is or we think he is he isn’t a 40+game a season player, it’s more logical for him to miss the odd game here and there rather than play him until he would most likely get injured. Recently there have been a couple of goals we’ve conceded where you could point at Dejan and say he should have done better.

Yes, second goal in the last home game was him getting beaten in the tackle far too easily. But totally agree. He was absolutely schooling Fulham best young players last night and he's not that old himself. Talent wise he's amazing.

Re: TW Interview
Tetek was superb last night. I hope that interview wasn't an indication that he's going to be dropped on Saturday.
and Richard Walden puts the Shots 1-0 up against Man Utd

Re: TW Interview
Tetek is like playing with an extra player, Theo is like playing with one less.
The balance surely is to play Frost and Hargreaves more consistently instead of seemingly favouring his son.

Re: TW Interview
I’ve been a Tommy fan since he took over what was a relegation bound team season before last and of course the never to be forgotten last season .I believe his hands were very tied having seen the departures of our best players but not having his budget increased to any extent etc. despite the significant extra income generated.
Tetek has great ability but I understand his playing time has to be managed carefully and he’s injury prone.

It seems a bit strange to me that if Tetek is "running on empty" why wasn't he rested last night?
Re: TW Interview
I think Tommy saying Tetek was running on empty may mean he hasn't many games under his belt due to his injuries
Re: TW Interview
Just watched the interview and this is a very different Tommy.
Previously he was very agitated and seemed very annoyed and ‘stressed’ and this showed in his mannerisms especially the faces he pulled.
In the interview last night he appeared (to me) a lot calmer and far less facial dissatisfaction.

Perhaps on medication now to relax him and lower his blood pressure.
