It's a training session in the sense that no one cares about the end product. OK, there's money attached, but that's basically bribe money, put up by the PL to buy NL participation and get their Frankenstein Cup over the line.

I know a meaningless friendly cum training session when I see one.
How can you say NOBODY cares ! Bit of a silly statement to make.

Will you be happy if we get relegated but win that friendly competition?

Knowing the way we suck up to the NL, we will probably blow the money on an open top bus parade now we have qualified.

Total prize money earned so far £34k….
That’s a tidy sum for playing so called “practice matches “.

What does qualified actually mean? What happens next in this cup? I don’t have the effort or desire to look it up myself.

For a 5year contract, I’d say that’s about right.

Is it top 2 qualify as looking at the table it would seem Maidenhead can overtake us?

There's a line drawn below 2nd and above 3rd on the table, so yes, top two qualify

Come off it Bob! A training session is totally different to a game. I know you don't like the competition but you cannot call it something it clearly is not. Whether there is money involved as you claim is irrelevant to the discussion.
Testing the waters to slip 2 or 3 u21 sides into the conference in a season or 2
