There were plenty saying this sort of thing when we got relegated under Waddock and were saved by Gateheads finances.
The worrying thing for me is that IIRC Waddock wasn’t sacked and was even offered a new deal.
I fear the same may happen with Widdrington.

Do you both remember weetaflakes? They were delicious, a veritable treat that could be enjoyed at anytime . Loved mine with warm milk ,some honey and a chopped up banana .
