And thinking back to the 87/8 season, all four Welsh clubs, Cardiff, Swansea, Newport and Wrexham, together with Wolves, Bolton and Burnley were below us in Division 4.

It was such a missed opportunity, a few years ago, when Ryan and Rob were looking to book a flight, that our chairman failed to mention that Farnborough welcomed private jets.

I love these threads, I noticed a few evening kick offs which was unusual in those days although I remember Torquay did it quite often

That was to try and get holiday makers in .We spent that season kicking off a 3.15 pm for some bizarre reason ,though you'd love that now .

I know about Torquay but there were a few more evening kick offs for some reason
