Re: Club statement re Saturday’s postponement
As you seem to comment a lot about 'our' team perhaps you should also do your bit and ask the Chairman for a meeting if you are that concerned.
Re: Club statement re Saturday’s postponement
You are right, Localshot. It looks like stirring for the sake of it. Posters consistently complain about the lack of communication from the club and then some get the daggers out when a club employee gives his side of things.
As for that employee being a former player, is that relevant? Obviously it's Mark Butler that is being referred to. After all that Mark has done for ATFC, I think he has every right to communicate his feeling with the fans via Facebook. You don't have to agree with Mark, your choice, but give the man the curtesy of allowing him a voice.

Bob I was answering Local about contacting the club. I have even had Mr Petty and Dr Jim's assistance with this.

No need to apologise.

Out of interest, who did you speak to and when?

Read what I wrote. I gave one of the directors my personal number ( last year) I missed him and phoned back and left an a voicemail on his work phone ( during the day). Mr Petty who had nothing to do with the club set it up.
I have not heard anything since must have been back in the spring early summer. Can understand as they are busy.

I have done (gawd, there’s a lot to wade through) and I couldn’t find any reference to you giving one of the directors your personal number so apologies if I’ve missed it.Rba wrote: ↑Thu Jan 16, 2025 7:02 pmRead what I wrote. Do you care to let me know which director it is because I’ll be up at the ground tomorrow and if I bump into him I’ll remind him that you’re waiting for a phone call.
