"We started the game OK, until the 2nd minute."

That's the earliest I've ever switched off.

In the opening 15 minutes we had 6 attacks and on at least 3 occasions we got into dangerous areas, but all led to nothing.

Braintree had 1 attack, we make a mistake and they score!

Embarrassing.

No I'm not having that at all, it's a lame and embarrassing excuse for an interview. How about "that was an unacceptable performance" or "our defending simply isn't good enough" or "we got our selection wrong tonight." Richard Dryden is meant to be the defensive specialist in our coaching team but comes across as a wet blanket who just shrugs his shoulders a lot. How can players be motivated and inspired by that?

This was a game we needed to win , given the threat of relegation and tougher (on paper) games ahead. In the end I was relieved we came away with a point as Lisbee should have had a hatrick first half and I think it was Akinde who missed another sitter right at the end of the game. We also had chances and both defences were truly awful . Some disappointing performances out there today and the players need to do alot better if we are to survive. Like many others, I found the team selections odd and also disappointed Bryd has gone.

We don't get the ball into the penalty area quick enough once we're in the final 3rd. We hesitate, pass again and lose impetus and many potentials for putting defenses into panics and errors. Braintrees goals were straight through, gambled once in the final 3rd. We're obsessed with pass pass pass .. happens every home game. Miffed how professional coaches we employ can't see this. Visiting teams must be laughing their arses off at us. It's so predictable and it's so easy for them to get a result ie not lose or beat us

Agree.

A struggle to only draw at home to lowly Braintree, in a relegation battle, and with no signs of any improvement or progression.

But it’s fine people, we are unbeaten in 5 in all comps!

Last night was crying out for the energy and mobility of Frost, Hargreaves and Stuttle at HT!

But our coaching staff never seem brave enough to do something like a HT triple substitution. Too easy to accept the first half was good enough, in their opinion!

Alex, they work to a script - two subs on 60 mins, 2 more on 75-80 mins irrespective of what's happening on the field. That's not team management, they are just going through the motions like many of our squad, especially the manager's little favourites. We are absolutely rudderless and TW coming back will make no difference as this rot set in months ago
