Braintree player wanted it more in midfield that led to their goal but both defences are absolutely woeful, some of it is so basic as well.

Shots defending is truly awful
Armitage looks very nervous with Maghoma at the back
Theo all over the place in midfield

How and why has anyone just clapped the players off after that half?

Shambolic!

Our midfield and defence is a shambles. It’s truly baffling the decision that have been made in these two areas regarding team selection and loans.

However, Braintree are equally as awful at the back.

Dreadful. Could be out of this and they're awful. Ref letting them waste all the time they want. Still think we will win easily but that was terrible. I'm sure Armitage will be a good player but they've introduced uncertainty again with the lineup. He looks all at sea.

In 33 years watching that has to be the worst defensive display I've seen.

Maghoma and Armitage are so slow we haven't been first to anything single ball all half. Braintree look like scoring everytime they go over the halfway line.

Agree Armitage is all at sea and Maghoma as per normal awful - at this rate they will get more chances and they are a) waltzing through our MF and b) lobbing balls over the top. Their front 2 look dangerous against our poor defending.
This literally could be 5-4 to someone.

Win easily ?!? What gives you that impression???
Should be 2-3 down at half time, we’re getting pulled apart at every attack, yet again midfield is offering nothing in protection!! I don’t see an easy win, if we carry like this, I see a defeat or draw at best !! Hope I’m proved wrong
