Remaining Fixtures

Post by Silasgoldeen »

Just found my fixture list in my wallet so had a look. Some really nice home games left, some tough aways but some winnable, too.

H - Solihull (6), Braintree (20), Tamworth (16), Fylde (22), Hartlepool (10), Dagenham & Redbridge (15), Gateshead (4), Ebbsfleet (24), Boston (23), Sutton (13), Yeovil (9)
A - Oldham (5), Maidenhead (21), Eastleigh (12), Southend (14), Wealdstone (19), Altrincham (11), Rochdale (7), York (1), Woking (17), Barnet (3)

All the bottom teams at home still (except Maidenhead). I know, still have to go and win them but could be a lot worse.

7 of 9 home games against teams in the lower half, surely we can pull at least 15-18 points from those? Add to that a few points away and we should get to 45+ which gives us a good shot at survival.

I can realistically see 23 points there which leaves us with 48..... :|

Need to pull some results out of somewhere or it will be getting very squeaky

There's no doubt about it, we need to put ourselves in a good position by winning tonight.

yeah it's definitely one of the four best opportunities for 3 points, so we don't want to miss out.

I reckon we'll get to 50 starting with 3 tonight. And we've got a good chance of a Wembley appearance. :D

If we can’t beat Braintree at home we deserve to go down.

I’m hoping we can stay out of the bottom four for as long as possible. If we drop into it we will not get back out!

I’m waiting for Rusty to get his spreadsheet out before I make a prediction

I have to agree, tonight is about winning and if they can't do that then we're going to be in limp mode until the end of the season.

We are going down. Nothing more needs to be said.

Sad times.
