Decent player, Nicke. He did an excellet job for us when on loan (from Portsmouth?) Good luck to the lad, he deserves it.

Wouldn't say no! He's developed really well in recent years

Sonny Bradley scored Wycombe's 2nd to knock Pompey out of the FA Cup.

Theo or a player that is apparently being sort after by football league clubs?

No brainer really. You’re rating Booty based on one season 6 years ago. He’s gotten better not worse since then.

That’s Alex though, I’m sure if we were offered Nick Pope back on a free he’d say ‘no, not good enough’ based a on stint 10 years back.

Yes, I was always surprised (and dismayed) that we didn't retain him ... After the completion of his loan here, he was promptly released by Portsmouth at the end of the season .... Would have loved to see him here permanently: a big, old-fashioned targetman....just what we need(ed)!

Booty was very well regarded at Huddersfield but for whatever reason, things haven’t worked out as I’m sure he’d have hoped. Good luck if he gets his chance in the league now.

When Booty was here he came as a midfielder but he ended up playing at left back which wasn’t his best position. He was also playing in a very poor team (GW’s last season iIrc) so I’d imagine that his confidence levels were taking a bit of a hit.

Whatever position he was asked to play he couldn’t even pass the ball, and often smashed it into the stands!

Harsh assessment. When Regan joined us he had only just turned 20. The lad was learning his trade. His passing was a bit erratic, but no more so than a host of NL players. After leaving us, when he returned here with Maidstone, it was clear how improved he was. He does seem to have developed into a decent midfielder and at 26 probably has his best 2-3 years in front of him.

I still wouldn’t want him back in a Shots shirt, and if he’s asked for a transfer that rules us out anyway!

Can’t see us ‘buying’ a player any time soon.
