He’s definitely ‘not there yet’

Needs to improve defensively, a lot!

Yes I agree. Someone mentioned Tyler Frost but I think he's had his chance in the League and is 25 now. Surely any club wanting him would simply wait until his contract expires? Dewhurst is potentially better than NL level but the market for goalkeepers works in mysterious ways.

Indeed. We are at the wrong end of the table and top 7 looks unlikely, though a remote possibility.
Just as players want to be in a successful, challenging team, football club owners don’t want to lose money when there is little chance of progressing up the pyramid. I’d be surprised if there are not further departures and maybe a player sale too.
Relegation currently looks more probable therefore the club needs to make sure that doesn’t happen.

I'm with you on this one Alex. Ashley gives us great attacking support and whips in some lovely crosses, but we always seem vulnerable on that side when he's playing. At only 20, he has time to develop this aspect of his game and could become a real gem in a couple of years' time.

yeah that's all I'm saying. Given his age and athleticism he's one of a small group who could realistically play a fair bit higher. Some things in the game you can coach, some you can't, and any weaknesses he may have are 100% things you can coach.

The only one of the current squad that I believe has any sale value is Ryan Jones.

Tetek has similar potential, but any club wanting to pay a fee for him will want to see him get through to the end of the season with no further injuries.
Surley Widds Jnr has got to have a value around the £500K mark?

I wonder how much TW thinks he’s worth? Does he have a figure in mind?
