Up to yesterday afternoon I assumed I'd be at my back up game of horsham v Billericay, 20 mins down the road for me but im glad get to make the trip over to the rec today instead.

I have always said the decision should be made to cover the travel time for the visiting team, that ref should have been at the ground earlier and made his decision then.

Today’s Referee has turned up and after inspecting the pitch, has made the decision to postpone todays game with a section of the pitch in front of the South Stand still frozen.

The vast majority of the pitch is playable and in good condition, but unfortunately the decision has been made to cancel the game due to this area of the pitch.

Our Volunteers have been hard at work this morning and into this afternoon attempting to help improve conditions in the problematic areas, but unfortunately our Referee has not deemed there enough time or improving conditions to allow these areas to improve.

We thank our volunteers for their helps to attempt to improve the condition of the pitch.

Details on the rearranged date of this fixture will be communicated as soon as possible.
