Things are changing at Bristol Rovers, who knows could be released come end of season. A very highly rated youngster around these parts of Wiltshire. Saw him play at local club Westbury Utd when on loan from Chippenham, stood out then and mentioned him to Tommy last season. One for the future ....... ours I hope !!

Tommy is on the record as saying that he tries not to sign players on loan for a quick fix, he wants the club to see some long-term benefit. It wouldn't surprise me if he's looking at the three long-term loans we have with a view to offering them deals at the end of the season.

I always wonder whether the loan players are OK with National League. Like Dan might be for now but Stuttle presumably still has ideas about playing higher? Or is it just accepted that most youngsters don't make it and you have to take the games where you can?

Either way I think Ellison has a lot about him. Went straight over to Jordi after the Halifax disaster which was big for a 19 year old kid. And he's a leader on the pitch too. Really impressed. Due a goal too.

Keep up the good work, Dan.

Although his defensive work is imperative, he will surely score for us soon.
