Perfectly legitimate comments by Alex.
Just hope we don't have a repeat of last Saturday's pitch inspections!
Thank you to those who look after the pitch

Going by all the hysteria in the media, there must be a chance smoke from the Californian wildfires could cause a postponement.

Super strange comment. America's 2nd largest city is burning to the ground. Not sure it is hysteria. Pretty sure its nothing to do with Saturday's game.

Lots of people over there are losing their homes. They must be terrified.

I’d be interested to hear about Ex Attendant’s news source that reports about this disaster (maybe that’s too strong a word for them?)/event without ‘hysteria’.

Agree its terrible, but the way the British press are covering it you would think its Birmingham, meanwhile the looming financial crisis is relegated to second on the news agenda.

No, you wouldn't think it was Birmingham. Not unless you were challenged in the brain function department. You woud think it was in Los Angeles, California, USA.

Based on the frost that has already come down in Aldershot tonight and the forecast I would think there is little chance of the game going ahead despite the valiant efforts of the groundstaff and volunteers.

Well, third on the agenda following Elon Musk’s completely unhinged ranting and raving.

Seems odd there’s a looming financial crisis when M and S and Tesco have just announced record profits and thousands of people found the money for Oasis tickets at inflated prices. I know that’s in the past but i imagine it would still be the case if those events happened in the next few weeks. I don’t think people’s finances are quite as tight as people - yes, including the ‘mainstream media’ - are making out.

I know the covers have been down but a good chance the game will be frozen off, surely?

Early forecast is for it to warm up a bit by Tuesday so I’d expect the Braintree fixture to be on.
Alex do you ever have anything positive to say, the guys work their nuts off to get the games played and all you do is come on here with comments like that.
You really must have a boring life.

It’s hardly a negative comment is it ffs.
The geezer is only saying there’s a chance that the game maybe off due to temperatures.

I agree with you about the financial crisis, like everything it’s exaggerated

Absolutely no problem with any of the volunteers and appreciate what they do. I wasn’t having a go at anyone or moaning about what has or hasn’t been done to try to protect the pitch.

It has been, and still is FREEZING!! 🥶🥶🥶

I’ll be amazed if there isn’t quite a few games off tomorrow, away from Prem and Championship grounds.
