I’m guessing he’s not fit or ready for us/our level.

Lots of you were moaning about Jenkins not playing, well I expect he was rushed back and gets injured again!

When Manny was coming back to fitness back in October, he was sent to Hemel on loan but found himself joining a club which, following a very strong start to the season, had gone into freefall. His return to the Rec seemed to coincide with the sacking of Bobby Wilkinson. I'm unsure if he picked up another injury since, but either way he's not getting enough football to regain match fitness and compete for a starting place here. Truro are a strong side and John Askey is a top manager, so I would hope this loan will really benefit Manny and get him back into contention here.

This seems odd, given that we have a National League Cup game on 21/01 and the HSC game on 28/01 ... I would have thought it sensible to use those games to get him back to match fitness, and/or assess his readiness for league duty ... rather than packing him off to Cornwall!

Given his stuttering season so far, the management team might want him to get more than just a couple of games under his belt...

If Truro are coveirng his wages, it may also free up some money in our wage bill for an incoming loan signing?

he looked really good against Derby U21s, big, strong, solid tackles, but I don't think he's played against grown ups (Hartlepool away apparently). Who knows what's been going on. Tommy hinted that they haven't been able to keep him fit in one interview which might be the problem. I guess at this point they have three regular starters in there and don't need him. Still think we could use this kind of player but maybe it isn't Maja.

Definitely (when match fit) a player which should be in our midfield, I watched him twice last season at Banbury though a lower standard you could tell Maja has it all physically strong with a lot of skill breaks up play well and can pick a pass. Shame the club haven’t kept us up to date with his progress since being injured I guess we are not worthy.

Didn't we send Olly Bray off to Truro for a loan spell about this time last season?

Maybe Manny can have a look under their sofa and see if he's still there...?

Indeed. We are at the wrong end of the table and top 7 looks unlikely, though a remote possibility.
Just as players want to be in a successful, challenging team, football club owners don’t want to lose money when there is little chance of progressing up the pyramid. I’d be surprised if there are not further departures and maybe a player sale too.

The only one of the current squad that I believe has any sale value is Ryan Jones.

Tetek has similar potential, but any club wanting to pay a fee for him will want to see him get through to the end of the season with no further injuries.

Akpan if he builds on what he has. He's not there yet but has all the tools. I think he'll need another season or two first though.
