Re: Pat Nash
If they only get so far as you say that still might be far enough to pass “the shots”. The entertainment package at Farnham is far better than Aldershot ,,,at the present time. Lets hope Aldershot can push on and get the results Farnham are getting.

If the Shots had an equivalent budget to Farnham in their league, I’m sure we would.charles2004 wrote: ↑Fri Nov 29, 2024 12:46 am If they only get so far as you say that still might be far enough to pass “the shots”. Re: Pat Nash
Can’t comment for Fleet, but Farnham will always be constrained by their ground as to their ambitions and I have said this before. However, the only thing that after watching Farnham regularly for over 30 x years now, I see a parallel to the same enthusiasm and hope ATFC had also over 30 x years ago. We all know what has happened since, particularly in the last 10 x years.charles2004 wrote: ↑Fri Nov 29, 2024 12:46 am If they only get so far as you say that still might be far enough to pass “the shots”. Re: Pat Nash
Any criticism or suggestions Pat Nash will never play for the first team is a little unjust , he is a young lad who is still developing , I suspect his biggest Weakness is lack of game time at senior level .....If I am correct the Shots are doing just that.....Everton saw potential in him and from what I believe it was Pat's decision to leave them ....Remember the young McCarthy and Pope played for us at a young age ... Look how they ended up

Still got to do the business on the pitch though, I sense a wee bit of jealousy towards them from some of our fans.redblueuptoyou wrote: ↑Fri Nov 29, 2024 7:30 amIf the Shots had an equivalent budget to Farnham in their league, I’m sure we would.charles2004 wrote: ↑Fri Nov 29, 2024 12:46 am If they only get so far as you say that still might be far enough to pass “the shots”. Good Luck to them, a lad I used to coach when he was younger plays for them Adam Liddle.

Re: Pat Nash
Jealous of lowly Farnham as a Shots fan. Heard it all now! LOL.
Adam Liddle has joined Fleet from Farnham. No idea if it’s a loan or permanent move.

Lowly Farnham says the entitled Shots fan who can predict into the future lol, worst case case scenario is we could be in the same division in the not to distant future.

If Farnham are so great perhaps you should support them and not the Shots.

I'll carry on supporting the Shots cheers but thanks for the daft suggestion.

Re: Pat Nash
Maybe a hint of jealousy from an Alton fan though Alex?
Would be nice to see Alton do something similar as it is a good set up at Anstey Park.

I will stay in and watch some decent football......on the tele.
Re: Pat Nash
Nah, Farnham as a town too posh for a “proper” football team, much like Guildford City were. Might well fit a future scenario, a la Dulwich.( or Dorking)...but not beyond.
