Agree, should be starting.

Re: Dejan Tetek
Trouble is the managers son plays in midfield so he’ll never start unless Hargreaves is injured. The same happened to Ochieng which is why he moved on and we are seeing the exact same with Maja. Both would be far better options.

Re: Dejan Tetek
The thing that stood out for me with Tetek when he came on was his movement and ability to read the game, and this certainly helped Barham improve his contribution. The last 15 minutes was a joy to watch and got the support galvanised in the stands.

Re: Dejan Tetek
He has shown consistent quality whenever he has played and has in my opinion earned the right to be first choice on the teamsheet
The old saying goes "You can please some of the people some of the time, but you will never please all the people all the time." In fact sometimes it seems impossible to even please some of the people any of the time
Re: Dejan Tetek
Pretty sure most fans would have Maja and Tetek starting. Issue is their very injury prone

There's no doubting his quality but unfortunately him staying fit is the problem.

We should be making the most of him while he is fit.

He plays the ball forward. Not all of our midfielders do this.brian bloomfield wrote: ↑Thu Nov 28, 2024 9:29 am The thing that stood out for me with Tetek when he came on was his movement and ability to read the game, and this certainly helped Barham improve his contribution. Dejan is a joy to watch, played some lovely stuff last season , linking with Josh. He’s been used sporadically this season but even when he comes on as sub, we immediately look a much better side with threat. One of the few players I would guess who could currently play at EFL standard. He has great technical ability and I would love to see him start more regularly

Perhaps he could tell Akpan.

Brian at the start of the game everyone in the Aldershot crowd was screaming for theo to be taken offbrian bloomfield wrote: ↑Thu Nov 28, 2024 9:29 am The thing that stood out for me with Tetek when he came on was his movement and ability to read the game, and this certainly helped Barham improve his contribution. Was engrossed in conversation with Rob Young most of the game so didn't hear any early mass crowd giving Theo a hard time. However, post sending off was another matter, and Tommy W himself was roundly applauded at the end, contrary to a lot of feeling on this message board.
