Couldn't make it today but fantastic result Shots, well done!

Glad the Barrett and Henry combo worked today. Both are wonderful footballers but the lack of pace and/or a second striker is always a concern, so glad it seemingly worked today.

Have to back this up with a win on Tuesday!

Barham did their running today! Played well. Hopefully wasn’t too disappointed when he was brought off?

Definitely something to build on for Tuesday, playing Tetek is a starting point, although with Ellison going off injured now means Maghoma will be straight back in.

Always been a mixed bag of results at D&R, been more bad than good in recent seasons. Hopefully we can end both a poor run there and away in general, we are overdue. They seem to be having a bit of a similar season to us. They fare better at home and score a lot but struggle to keep clean sheets so I’d be surprised if that one is 0-0.

I suppose it is theoretically possible that Tetek could come into the midfield, as long as Theo can play somewhere else: middle of the back 3; left wing-back; maybe in goal? But you need to get with the programme and respect the rule that Theo Must Always Be Selected as anything else is hopeless naivety.

Theo was mostly untroubled at the back during the second half against a toothless Alty forward line.

First half he played a few good passes, but once again seemed nowhere near the ball when Alty attacked and was often watching them play around us.

I maintain, him wearing the captains armband is embarrassing and insulting.

However, we won, and I’m not working for 10 days, so it’s a happy weekend!

MoTM James Henry said he thought this was our best performance of the season.

And with the exception of the sloppy late Alty goal, I can't disagree.

For the most part we looked sharp and confident.

I do hope Ellison isn't injured long. Our defence was decent with him in it.

And, rather like Belgium, I struggle to see the point of Mahogma....more a liability than an asset IMO

Exactly this, it's so frustrating watching the opposition play through the midfield with ease while he jogs and sidestep round in circles without picking anyone up. It was infuriating at times in the first half yesterday.

Credit where it's due, he stepped up and did a good job at CB in the 2nd half.

I'm sire Tetek will be back o the bench Tuesday as we revert to type with Theo and Maghoma in the positions they've made their own
