In fairness, he expressed a judgment of character which is generally an opinion-based thing...
Whilst it is perhaps risky to voice opinions quite so vigorously as Turnkey has I wouldalso in the vain of fairness he is basing his judgement on often repeated stories and a wide range of varying allegations that do seem to follow JR around from before, during and after his time with us.
After the incident I received a nice threatening text from Mr Rowe (which I still have) saying he would sue me if I made the incident known. I did, and I’m still waiting for his legal letter.
So you disliked him enough to give him your number?

Turnkeys number would have been available and known to James Rowe at the time
The old saying goes "You can please some of the people some of the time, but you will never please all the people all the time." In fact sometimes it seems impossible to even please some of the people any of the time

I was working on the ground staff, both him and Gary, as with all previous managers had my number so they could let us know what they wanted doing with the training ground before they arrived.

I seem to remember him being touted as the reason we lost Idris Kanu for nothing whether true or not, it seemed his treatment of the younger players left a lot to be desired.

I think this was connected to Idris leaving West Ham (where Rowe was a coach) rather than us. Wasn’t there something about Rowe’s dad being an agent and looking to expand his agency through his son?

OK. I would have thought that they would have told the groundsman that info and that he would pass it on.

Regardless, thank you for the explanation.
