No!! This isn't about Tommy it's about his son. Theo.
Personally I thought he gave a first class post match interview.
I found it inspirational, so much so I felt like finding my old football boots and going out to play again.
I believe that was Theo's first post match interview and he addressed many areas ( the stick the team gets ( which he says the team take on board in a positive manner), training, team togetherness, his father's motivational skills , etc.) and left me much more relaxed about the team's capabilities to push on from here and climb our way up the table.

Easy to say the things you want fans to hear.

Need to perform though.

Most of the time he is awful!

Theo is eloquent for a footballer, but he remains an absolute liability out on the pitch. And it's unhealthy for any squad to have the manager's son in it, it stifles openness and team-building.

Not disagreeing, but did Nigel Clough and Darren Ferguson ever cause issues?

I really wish he was our next Tolaj or Stokes but he isn't, the only consistency he shows is in bookings . It's OK though as long as daddy has a job Theo will always have one .

Nigel Clough answered any critics very effectively by his outstanding performances on the pitch. Darren Ferguson was clearly not in the same league but then his father never gave him the game time that would have called Sir Alex's judgement into question.

Correct, Nigel played in a very good forest side in the late 80’s early 90’s alongside Webb Walker Pearce Keane etc

Roy Keane, who has a particular chip on his chip-laden shoulder regarding Alex Ferguson, said that Darren was "very lucky" to have a Premier League winners medal. However that's not borne out by the facts. At the start of the very first PL season in 1992, ManU had three England international central midfielders - Paul Ince, Aldershot's very own Neil Webb, and a 35yo but still bloody good Bryan Robson. (Seriously, kids, look him up on YouTube. He was brilliant).

However, Fergie had a massive bust-up with Neil Webb at the end of the previous season having accused him of not trying, and quarantined him in the reserves. Also, Webb was on the down slope after a dreadful injury which put him out of the game entirely for 18 months. Then Bryan Robson got injured yet again. ManU now had two potential partners for Paul Ince - a young Darren Ferguson, or future coach Mike Phelan who was essentially a right-back who might do a job. So Fergie jnr. got a decent run in the team of about a dozen games but was never quite the ticket and once they had other options available, he behaved like water and found his own level.

I think Theo W. does OK for us. Maybe his level is a bit lower, I certainly don't believe it's higher. Tetek is a better player but he's never able to stay fit. Theo isn't our worst player but he's become a bit of a lightning rod for the fans' anger and gets more stick than he deserves.

There's worse players in our squad than Theo. As others have said he gets a ridiculous amount of stick purely because of the father son relationship.

I truly think his level is bottom half National League though- so the fact he starts every game for us when available shows where the club is right now.

If I was Theo I'd look to move away from Tommy's management in the Summer. I don't think working together helps either of them.

I don’t pick on him because he is the son of our manager.

I just don’t think he’s that decent and in my opinion certainly not good enough for the NL.

Also do think he is one of the worst players in our squad.

But hey ho, the manager rates him and nothing will change any time soon, so need to accept he’ll play regularly and expect poor play and errors etc.
