Yep, spent enough time around him when he was at the club, he was deeply unpleasant to most people but his bullying of our younger players was horrendous to see and I personally called him out on it once. When the allegations surfaced, let’s just say I was less than surprised.

Whilst it is perhaps risky to voice opinions quite so vigorously as Turnkey has I would say also in the vain of fairness that he is basing his judgement on often repeated stories and a wide range of varying allegations that do seem to follow JR around from before, during and after his time with us.

I have the proof of the people who were there and the witnesses to the incident that happened, it’s not my opinion. The young player involved had my full support and was encouraged to report the matter to the right people. He didn’t, but Gary knew what had gone on. I have zero fvcks to give whether you believe me or not, I really do not need your validation.

After the incident I received a nice threatening text from Mr Rowe (which I still have) saying he would sue me if I made the incident known. I did, and I’m still waiting for his legal letter.
