Wasn’t it you that was always on Southgate’s back MR 65?
Not really sure what wannabe coach Safegate, connection with the shots is.

He's history.. let it go.

Anyway ...enjoying the Rugby
🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 v 🇿🇦 🏉

Have a nice day!
Absolutely no connection but it seems extremely ironic that you take exception to people having a go at TW when you constantly used to slag Southgate off
It's called one rule for him and another rule for everyone else, Peter.

After todays game we have dropped to only 1pt (was 2pts last week) above the first relegation spot.
Points from safety wise its been a steady and continuing decline I'm afraid.
Stats not looking good. :(
The stats are poor.
9 points from 11
We're in a relegation battle
Today's a decent point but then would people be pleased with one point from Wealdstone and Gateshead?

Wish that was the case when I last made the effort to get up there in 2018. Lost 3-0 with hardly a shot at goal and it was freezing. The tea ladies in the away section were lovely though!!

Having said that if we played a team of zebras 🦓 that would also be tough

Not a terribly sensible post.

To many of us, the logistics of meeting up individually with the manager and players do not add up. Quite apart from anything else, emotions can run high after a game and neither side may be as rational as one might hope. Also, this line of advice (often advocated by Jim Royal) presupposes that manager and players are inclined to be open and honest in response to views expressed. What are your reasons for presupposing this? Ultimately, it's up to the manager to communicate with the supporters by the usual means, always understanding that some things need to remain private.

As for your last point, surely everyone understands that a manager gets praise when the team is playing well and getting results and criticism when not. WTF else do you expect?
Well Bobby, I can only say met BOD members, players and Managers to chat after games. Players are usually the most reserved. Tommy was refreshingly honest with me, I was quite taken aback at some of his answers to my questions. And you are right some groaners on here may not be able to chat after games ....... probably as they never attend games

Apologies, I'm descending to their level now.

Fair do's, Jim. I appreciate your point of view. It’s not really my way of doing things nor that of many others I would have thought. After a game, I usually need to get myself home sharpish to discharge domestic duties.

This is a genuine question. When I leave the East Bank at the end of a game how would I get to chat through my observations with the management or players, where would I go? I have only ever spoken to players when bumping into them by chance…..a couple of fairly recent examples being on Chesterfield station platform and in Costa Coffee Swindon.

Well done to our lads, an impressive point considering Gateshead had won 7 out of 8 home games before this.

We’ve now drawn 7 of our first 18 league games, whereas we didn’t reach 7 draws until the 41st league game of last season!

I presume we’ll have Ellison back next week as two bookable offences is usually just a one match ban?

Long gone are the days where you could talk to players after a game like in wally’s bar ( mark butler usually) in the 90’s, they were the glory days 👍🍺
