A goal scoring centre forward built like a tank (like Marlon) which defenders bounce off is just the type of player we need at the moment. Will Tommy be able to come up with such a player ?

Achieving very little at lowly Braintree, and has become less mobile by all accounts. Think his time is done in this league.

Gabriel Osho made his debut for Nigeria last night in their 1-1 draw away against Benin in the AFCON qualifiers. Unfortunately Gabe was subbed off at half time!!
Sutton United's Jayden Harris has ruptured his achilles and will miss the rest of the season.

If it’s the same Marlon Jackson who wore a Shots shirt he certainly was not a goal scorer, and I don’t remember him being built like a tank, so has he bulked up?

I saw him play a few times for Weston-super-Mare over the past couple of seasons and he has certainly bulked up. He scored a hat-trick in one of the games for Weston. Surprised he has dropped down to Yate, but they are top of their league and they have made some decent signings for their level (they signed a few from Taunton Town who were in National south last season)Alex wrote: ↑Fri Nov 15, 2024 10:52 pmYou have got to be joking, surely?fredandballou wrote: ↑Thu Nov 14, 2024 5:38 pm A goal scoring centre forward built like a tank (like Marlon) which defenders bounce off is just the type of player we need at the moment. When Marlon played for Yate Town in their Trophy win at Hungerford Town in the last round, he was fairly ordinary, slowed up a bit and played the target man role. In fairness, he has lasted well and I hope he still enjoys playing.

Thanks for the replies.
Still can’t imagine Marlon Jackson would be good enough for the Shots or NL now though!
