8 points from 11
No shots on target last 2 games
Selection of Maghoma a mystery
Takes off Barham for Ghandour
Dropping Dewhurst for JVS
Continues to pick his son

Suspect TW wants out

However every manager struggles under Azeem so must ask how are his 3 targets going?
How can anyone put that JVS in goal when you’ve got Marcus, there is no comparison. Suspect TW wants the sack, take his money and start again. Him staying is going to turn toxic.
JVS over Marcus, he needs a shrink.
That was a nonsensical decision that ultimately will come back and haunt TW, 100% agree 👍
The fact that he seemed to genuinely believe JVS and Dewhurst were of a comparable standard was completely baffling.

Dreadful performance , Wealdstone were better but not great but today, second half, I would seriously question the commitment of some players. We could hardly string 2 passes together and lost virtually all 50:50’s.I think it was the last few minutes before we even registered a shot on target .I watched Tommy’s post match interview but was concerned he didn’t talk about what needs to happen now to stop the rot.The “strike” force is impotent and Maghoma in defence is a liability whilst we have no creativity in midfield.I don’t get the impression this squad possesses either the physical or mental strength to reverse this awful form and we desperately need new faces.I hope Tommy is banging on the door of the chairman for funds to help and that the BOD is responsive .

Just seen the NL ‘highlights’ and some good close-up replays

Maghoma did pull the shirt of the Stones player

Ellison yellow card for handball very harsh!

Jones second yellow for a late foul was fair enough

Our only attacking moment shown was Barrett’s rubbish free kick

Pulling a shirt in itself isn’t an offence…It has to be a ‘sustained’ pull.
Unfortunately this is where The Laws Of Game cause problems….What’s a sustained shirt pull? How long are you allowed to pull the shirt for? It brings in subjectivity.
How many times do you see a shirts being almost pulled off players backs at corners?
There was an obvious pull on an Aston Villa players shirt last night and nothing was given.

Thought at the time it was a harsh decision but after seeing the incident on TV I think we would’ve been shouting for a penalty if it was the other way around.

Maghoma deserved to give it away for playing dreadfully, including in the build-up to the pen!

Whilst we were generally pretty poor in the first half the wheels really came off after 54 minutes when TW made the first two substitutions. It's almost as if the players were as astounded as the fans were .. let's be honest Barham being replaced by a player that hasn't looked remotely like scoring since August and soon after Hargreaves hauled off whilst leaving Jnr on the pitch.... the players from that moment on looked like any remaining belief had been sucked out of them and we became a jumbled mess.

He doesn’t have a clue what to do, he’s just shuffling his pack hoping that something works…. I’m expecting him to throw JvS on up front at some point.
To be fair he’s got more chance of scoring than some players

Agreed, always a risk of giving away a free kick and potentially a card.

If your referring to players and coaching staff probably a sensible decision for them to keep their heads down for a while. It avoids them getting into unpleasant spats with supporters.

The mournful 'Last post' being echoed around the EBB yesterday seemed quite fitting with regard to how our season has so dramatically deteriorated from where we were just twelve months ago. For all that watching the match highlights Alex Reid the Wealdstone experienced journeyman player went down far too easily for it to be given as a pen.

I wasn’t a fan of the microphone being held at the end of the trumpet for a louder effect.

If Maghoma had defended properly he wouldn’t have given Reid the chance to go down. He had to pull his shirt and try something to stop him getting a shot at goal as not for the first time he was completely the wrong side of him!
