This side is destined for relegation but it can be avoided if TW accepts the reality, loses the stubbornness and ships the sub standard players out (there’s plenty to choose from) and gets some fresh faces in. If he won’t, then he has to go. Apart from the keeper there is nothing good about this side. Even Henry seems to have given up.
I’ve seen some dross over the last 10 years or so but this present side is up there with the worst.

The referee is absolutely not in any way responsible for that utter horror show!
I agree that the officials cannot be blamed for our teams dire performance, but the referee & the linesman on the south side have to be the worse I have seen in a long while, and boy, haven’t we had some poor ones.

The penalty was a poor one to give, 2 players challenging for the ball & their player went down like he had been shot. As for the 2 sending offs, the game has gone if they were yellow card offences.

Having said that, we deserved nothing from the game. Wealdstone to their credit, worked their socks off & once they sniffed blood there was only going to be one team to win it.

Something has gone badly wrong since the back end of last season. That’s when doubts started to set in for me, when we were badly in need of a midfielder to come in on loan,TW for some reason ignored it & we went on a poor run & missed out on the play offs.

Key players moved on in the summer, we were told before the season started that a player has been brought in that was better goal scorer than Tolaj , has he been locked away in a cupboard or something, because we haven’t seen him on the pitch.

What really gets my goat more than anything is seeing teams like Wealdstone look more fitter, stronger & cleverer than us. For the first time in a very long while, I do fear that this will be the season where our luck runs out. That is something that I think our fans will struggle to accept.
The penalty wasn’t particularly harsh in my view. You’re right in that it was two players challenging for the ball but Reid got in front of Maghoma who then thought it was a good idea to grab a handful of his shirt instead of just staying goal side and shepherding him strongly but fairly across the edge of the box away from goal. Maghoma was at fault, not the officials. If that had happened at the other end we would all have rightly been screaming for a penalty.

I did think both second yellows were more contentious. I guess the letter of the law means the referee wasn’t wrong as such but on another day with another referee both Ellison and Jones, particularly the former, may have got away with it.

It just seems that to blame the officials for the complete ineptitude on show today is clutching at straws to say the very least.
Fair enough if you had a better view of it than me , I was sitting in north stand directly in line & didn’t see no shirt pull. Like I said at the start of my post, the officials can’t be blamed for the poor performance, so no straw clutching from me.
:D In my humble opinion..Just saying

For many years
You’re late to the party, Mr Mouse. Did Baggy Lea, Fleet Town, Ash Utd (choose any one) have an away fixture and you’ve only just got home?

I think there needs to be a bit of perspective. There are 7 x clubs below us in the table and although 3 of them had a good day today, none of them are setting the world alight across the season so far.

Relegation is a possibility for us, of course, but I rather think they may all be feeling the same.

Wealdstone have been struggling to score goals so they secure the services of Alex Reid on loan from Oldham.

Why can’t we do the same and why couldn’t we have got Alex Reid ? We have more chance of getting Susannah Reid 🤣

But of those 7 sides, how many have we beaten head to head so far this season?

For those of us lucky enough to have been elsewhere - what exactly were the scenes? Was it limited to angry fans in the North Stand? Or has the East Bank also lost faith?
Several from the East Bank went round to the North Bank to gave Tommy a piece of their mind, me included. I got to speak to him and asked him to get his son out of the squad a.s a.p. as he's useless and his presence is toxic. He didn't give me an answer to that.

Fair play to the lady who spent a few minutes reciting some of his programme notes to him, and challenging him on how what we witnessed bore any resemblance to his notes. (I haven't seen his write-up yet).

Tommy was apologetic but also seemed very dejected. He clwarly perked himself up a bit for the post-match interview, but I think all is not well in his world tonight.

Lots of venom from others there. I think today was a massive turning point. He either has to make wholesale changes or leave. We cannot continue as we are.

Going back to an earlier post I asked about bothering to go if we are predicting a rubbish performance which will end in defeat before a ball is even kicked? I still say going into a game, some seem to long for the self fulfilling prophecy of doom, and today, yep, they got it.

However, depending on whether you believe the gate today (I find that hard to believe) about 3000 Shots fans did bother Even is the crowd figure was inflated, probably about 75% of the attendance were Shots fans, and that, perhaps is a glimmer of hope. I still stand by the view that in expressing negativity before a game and it’s outcome is not a good thing. Afterwards when the results are in, is a different story.
Expressing negativity pre-match will have no bearing on it’s outcome. And it certainly doesn’t affect attendance, supporters still turning up in hope ,despite realistically expecting a poor performance.

No shots on target last 2 games
Selection of Maghoma a mystery
Takes off Barham for Ghandour
Dropping Dewhurst for JVS
Continues to pick his son

Suspect TW wants out

However every manager struggles under Azeem so must ask how are his 3 targets going?
How can anyone put that JVS in goal when you’ve got Marcus, there is no comparison. Suspect TW wants the sack, take his money and start again. Him staying is going to turn toxic.
JVS over Marcus, he needs a shrink.

Wasn’t expecting us to be great today but I thought we’d at least test a poor Stones team and win our battles.

But nope, second best in every department.

Very disappointing!
