Waving the white flag
Have to be honest, last season was fantastic, it felt good to be a shot again. This season is absolutely awful, I can only see is going one way at the moment under Tommy, and that's through that trap door to nls.
Theo started the season well but is back to the old theo, maghoma disappointing Rollin is better IMHO, Maxwell Mullins, is ge a defender or a striker? We are crying out for a decent striker for barham to play off from. JB is skillful but fitness wise he doesn't have it.
I'm done with the this until tw goes, even the commentary are saying how have we not tested the Wealdstone keeper.
Sorry Tommy, thanks for last season, but now is the time to go and take your favourites with you

They should all go.
The replacements for quality players have just been sub standard.

I believe Triggers Broom is hoping that if TW were to leave then it would be of his choosing in order to go to another club. If he went to another club while still under contract to us then that club would have to have approached us in order to agree a release payment.Old Bob wrote: ↑Sun Nov 10, 2024 6:25 pmWill we? Why? The old saying goes "You can please some of the people some of the time, but you will never please all the people all the time." In fact sometimes it seems impossible to even please some of the people any of the time

Re: Waving the white flag
TW has made loads of mistakes that I've highlighted elsewhere but I'll repeat what I say every time a manager is under pressure: every manager struggles under Azeem and a new manager is unlikely to make a massive difference.
Anyway, I'm sure the chairman's targets are going well? Was one of them to be back in the Football League or get out of the division?

Thanks, Richard. I must admit, I dismissed that interpretation of the situation on the grounds that I cannot see any other club wanting TW's services given his recent record. But maybe I am wrong. (It does happen ). Maybe Tadley Calleva or Petersfield would be tempted?Richard Petty wrote: ↑Sun Nov 10, 2024 6:33 pmI believe Triggers Broom is hoping that if TW were to leave then it would be of his choosing in order to go to another club. Thanks, Trig. But this does rather assume that TW's next stop is another club rather than the employment exchange.Triggers Broom wrote: ↑Sun Nov 10, 2024 8:53 pmIn case you missed my previous response OB:Old Bob wrote: ↑Sun Nov 10, 2024 8:27 pmThanks, Richard. And would Tadley Calleva and/or Petersfield be in a position to pay a fee?
