DH wrote: Fri Nov 08, 2024 11:40 am We won't score as we seem incapable of doing that against NL defences these days. Our own defence will be calamitous as usual and concede two so a 0-2 defeat I think.

Kick off time is odd but the Rememberence Game is usually quite well attended so I think we'll get close to 2,500 although as others have said, that'll start to drop off as we head towards the bottom four.
As TW keeps saying we must score more goals than we concede and then we win the game.

Perhaps we should start the keen and hungry youngsters up front with Henry providing the ammunition.

Look on the bright side, we are nowhere near as bad as a lot of you are making out. I’m going to The Rec to support the boys, enjoy the game and witness a return to form (hopefully) 4-0 Shots.

Oh, I’m certain that we are not a good side, we are in form.IMO our deficiencies are blatant. But I shall be there, more out of a lifetime’s habit, but the 12.30 k.o. was almost the last straw. 1-1 draw.

In terms of the crowd , I think the ridiculous early kick off, combined with our generally poor results and displays will mean we may struggle to hit 2,000
How often do teams go off the boil after a big win? Hopefully Wealdstone are too focused on the next cup match.

Would like to see Mullins start up front. Has looked decent last few times he’s played up there.

Wow! That's optimistic. Hope you're right.

I wonder who's going to score those 3 goals?

Not sure why we bother. Seems the spiral of doom, gloom and catastrophic disaster is well established here today. 🥺
