Re: Boom Boom Mk2 (The laughs continue)
My boss rang me this morning and said where are you "I'm on the train heading to the south coast now." I replied
"What?" he answered, sounding a bit annoyed. "Your supposed to be in the office this morning! What are you doing on a train?"
"Well" I said, "You're the one who told me you wanted me in Brighton early this morning!"

I got a dozen people to help me change my light bulb. To me, it kind of proved the philosophical point that many hands make light work……Richard Petty wrote: ↑Wed Jul 26, 2023 5:46 pm How many Psychotherapists does it take to change a light bulb
Just the one but the light bulb has to want to change

I went into a shop the other day which had a sign outside saying “Assistance Dogs Welcome.”
The Labrador inside was very polite and showed me where the off licence was without any hesitation….

I was walking down the road this morning and first got hit by a violin, then a clarinet and then a piano…
I think it was an orchestrated attack!

Reminds me of when I went to Halfords in Farnham several years ago wanting a replacement headlight bulb for the Honda CRV I had at the time. The assistant said: “Headlight bulb for a Honda CRV; how do you spell CRV?”

Have you ever noticed that when you lose the remote, you lose trust in everyone?
"Are you sitting on the remote?"
"No"
"Stand up"
"Are you sitting on the remote?"
"No"
"Stand up"
Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting "Holy ****....What a ride!"
