Don’t believe the myth about Church mice! On Sunday at St Stephens, they just talked loudly about cheeses……
Re: Boom Boom Mk2 (The laughs continue)
Saturday morning I got up early, quietly dressed, made my lunch, and slipped quietly into the garage. I hooked up the boat up to the van and proceeded to back out into a torrential downpour. The wind was blowing 50 mph, so I pulled back into the garage, turned on the radio, and discovered that the weather would be bad all day.
I went back into the house, quietly undressed, and slipped back into bed. I cuddled up to my wife's back; now with a different anticipation, and whispered, "The weather out there is terrible."
My loving wife of 5 years replied, "And, can you believe my stupid husband is out fishing in that?"

I was driving in a remote part of Scotland when my car broke down. There was no mobile phone signal, so I walked along the road for a couple of miles and came to a farmhouse and knocked on the door. I asked the woman who answered: “Is there a mechanic nearby?”
She told me there wasn’t but there was a McDougall, a McKay and a McKenzie who lived down the road….

I’ve been taking the blue pill for my sunburn.
It doesn’t cure it, but it keeps the sheets off my legs.

This morning I saw my neighbour talking to her cat; it was obvious the poor women thought the cat understood her.
When I got home I told my dog...we laughed a lot.

Just got back from Blackpool, never again...On the seafront I saw a guy and a woman having a shouting match until the woman smacked the guy in the head and then it all kicked off. Then a copper turned up but instead of trying to calm things down he starts belting the guy with his baton…..in the end the guy gets the baton off the copper and starts hitting him and his wife with it!
Final straw was when this crocodile turned up and stole all the sausages!

The old saying goes "You can please some of the people some of the time, but you will never please all the people all the time." In fact sometimes it seems impossible to even please some of the people any of the time

I was going to ask ‘where’s the punch line’ but that was earlier in the story.Richard Petty wrote: ↑Sat Jun 10, 2023 4:07 pmGraham Stovold wrote: ↑Sat Jun 10, 2023 2:17 pm Just got back from Blackpool, never again...On the seafront I saw a guy and a woman having a shouting match until the woman smacked the guy in the head and then it all kicked off. I have to admit, it’s been a long time since I looked on the boom boom thread (mk2), but I had a look today & I have to say a big well done to all the regular posters with their jokes.
It is certainly a nice bit of light hearted relief..well done everyone

Got a knock at the door this morning from the Police.
They showed me a photo and said :-
' Is this your wife' ?.
'Yes Sir' I said.
'I'm afraid it looks like she has been hit by a bus'
'I know but she's good with the kids'
