My wife asked me "is it just me or is the
cat getting fat?"

Apparently "no it's just you" wasn't the
right answer.

I was in a cafe today and two waitresses had a massive row over how long to leave a teabag in the cup and it got so bad it ended up in violence.

I asked the manager what had happened and he told me it had been brewing for ages.

I said to my wife: “If I die before you, I want you to promise that you will marry Ernie from up the pub!”
She said: “I thought you hated him”
I said: “I do!”
