Re: Mancheater City
About time the rules were modified. The goal keeper had a few fingers over the line and some say he should have a red card, what nonsence it would have ruined the game. For serious handling( the whole body) right outside the box a penalty would be more appropriate. But yes red card for foul play. A...

Re: National League attendances over the last few years
is that what's going on at Yeovil? I was too lazy to check but they averaged 3,916 last year while winning the South. Actually that's quite a telling data point isn't it? Many more people watching them win every week in NLS than middle of the road in NL, accepting that there have been other issues....

Re: National League attendances over the last few years
Also a question for others- if we were top of the league, what level do you think we would have to drop to before our attendances fell below were they are now? I am of the opinion that if we were top of the Isthmian Premier League, we would average more fans than we do now. is that what's going on ...

Lovely and emotive BBC piece on Spenny manager Graeme Lee and his wife's battle with brain cancer. Keeps it all in perspective....

Re: Who would you keep?
Ollie Harfield - We need to be ruthless and I've yet to see a player the same after a bad injury like his, as with Tetek we can't afford passengers next season if we want to sign better players Kai Corbett - Just don't think he's good enough, maybe keep if he's really cheap Tariq Uwakwe- Not even s...

Re: Goal of the Season?
I'd imagine JB would be 4 of the top 5 goals this season. The other one that stands out in the memory is Hady's ridiculous chip v FGR on the opening day.

Sure it's been mentioned already, but due to the stick he's received I'll say it again, I thought Theo was excellent at Wembley. Lower league opposition but a final nonetheless. Seems to get on well with Barrett too which can only help Barrett I felt he was his usual self in the first half, slow to...

Re: Isuzu FA Trophy
The pitch will be scratched into some semblance of shape, and the rest lumped into our increasing operational costs and debt repayments .... the same as the WBA money and Stokes transfer fee. That's just life as a NL club with no secondary income streams.

Re: Ex-Players & Managers thread May 1st on
Sadly he has no awareness of his inadequacies. Yesterday and today he's stuck himself front and centre of the celebrations as if he won the thing all on his own. I don't want to be griping this week but he's starting to get on my goat.

Re: Tommy's Pre-Match Interview
Hoping the club can release some sort of post-match interview with Tommy. It was a shame not to get one yesterday, although totally understandable given the chaos of the celebrations. I'd like to hear his take on the game.

Re: Open top bus tour details
For me, this is right up there with the other big days in the club's history. Yeaterday I achieved one of the few things on my life's bucket list just by being there. The fact we won, but also the way we won, made it even more special. Of course I would have liked us to be more competitive in the le...

I couldn’t help thinking a significant proportion of the Shots following ended up in McDonalds on the Ash Road about 20:30! Good for them Scott Davis, Antony Charles, Kirk Hudson were in there. Someone put on Facebook that Glen Burvil was there as well Lewis Kinsella, Stuart Udal and Mark Anderson
