Re: 1979 Ford Escort
On the subject of Escorts, I see an Escort Cosworth, one of the first 2500 homologation cars with only 2,200 miles on it, sold for £202k a couple of weeks ago.

Re: 1979 Ford Escort
Did like my escort, but then realised that there was only one ford to have which was a Capri. Now I loved that car. I always regret never having a Capri, I think they still look great. I did drive a couple a 2.0 litre which was nice and once, the 2.8 injection which frightened the life out of me, i...

Re: Ex-Player & Manager News - November 1st onwards
Whilst it is perhaps risky to voice opinions quite so vigorously as Turnkey has I wouldalso in the vain of fairness he is basing his judgement on often repeated stories and a wide range of varying allegations that do seem to follow JR around from before, during and after his time with us. After the...

Apart from your opinion you have no concrete proof In fairness, he expressed a judgment of character which is generally an opinion-based thing... Re: Ex-Player & Manager News - November 1st onwards
And you can prove that statement can you? Yep, spent enough time around him when he was at the club, he was deeply unpleasant to most people but his bullying of our younger players was horrendous to see and I personally called him out on it once. When the allegations surfaced, let’s just say I was ...

Re: Waving the white flag
Kris Machala was a terrible chairman But he was as lovely bloke who was horrendously manipulated by an absolute arsehole of a CEO and a devious c*** of a manager. I would ask, since he’s now passed and unable to defend himself, there is no bad mouthing of him, he did his best and was rinsed by thos...

Re: Poppy Shirt auction
15 years into my army career and I have never heard of that rule! Up until six years ago I sold poppies for the RBL, and it was only just then that someone who I sold one to mentioned it, I'd never heard of it before then. It is a nice idea and usually I try and maintain it but, especially with the...

Re: Poppy Shirt auction
On the subject of poppies, I was picking the poppy badge I would wear and found the Shots one that I bought in the shop a couple of years ago. Then I noticed that it’s not right! The leaf is facing completely the wrong way! It should be at 11 o’clock, but is actually at 1 o’clock, so I won’t be wea...

Re: STICKY : BBC Radio commentary this season, pls post links/tips
I use BBC Sport app, set your sport to football, then non league. When you use in future the commentary links are always half way down the page on the right.
