Re: Aldershot Town v AFC Fylde - Tuesday 1st April 2025 (Match Night Thread)

Steve Gibbs strikes again  . Corbett was energetic and provided an assist for Hentry, but was otherwise mostly ineffective and wasteful. Given LWB isn't his position but to suggest MOM is way off. Was glad he was substituted

Woodhouse, Ellison and Anderson in the mix for me.

Re: What would you choose? Relegation/Survival v FA Trophy Final Win/Loss

Survival. Every time, no question. Trophy run is nice, but is a bonus. I have a genuine fear that we will lose to Fylde (as we always do) with one eye on Saturday, and whatever the result vs Woking will put in an "after the lord mayor's show" performance against a resurgent Boston, lose ag...

Don't worry. Rob Worrall has reminded us we were 2 goals down last week against Ebbsfleet.

Re: What could have been.

I just laugh at rhe notion of "millions of Wrexham fans worldwide" as if they are actually Wrexham fans. They are Ryan Reynolds and Disney fans, who would never have heard of Wrexham if RR had bought Aldershot, Carlisle or anyone else. They would be "supporting" whoever was picke...

We also rested players up at Morecambe ahead of the Rotherham play-off game when we were flying, and it totally disrupted the momentum of the side.

Re: Kwame Returns !

Got a feeling Mullins might have to leave Shots if he wants to play regular first team football Possibly, which would be a shame - I think he has something he can offer us next season. Tommys quote about Kwame though..."He's here until the end of the season, at least " felt telling though...

Hear Hear - different sort of player, but Max was starting to really impact games with his introduction.

Maybe we will see both him and Kwame up top in the latter stages of games.

Re: Our Form and Tommy's Health

Definitely happy to cut him some slack now until the end of the season, whatever the remaining games provide us. He has earnt it for sure. 13th in the League and FAT Semi-final would definitely been seen as acceptable back in June when we were reeling from losing Stokes, Tolaj, Glover, Mnoga etc.
