I said it before and I will say it again - the proposed redevelopment of the Rec will be a disaster - losing the majority of the East Bank, (our biggest selling point), no tangible car parking on match days, and no new weekday income streams. Mark my words.

If we are going to knock the east bank down anyway rebuild it at the high street end . It’s the fans that make the atmosphere not a stand falling to pieces . When you think of it, what other club is restricted in land growth for its ground by a redundant office block, an old peoples home, an ageing High Street, and a buddhist temple! Totally laughable if not true!

The more I read on here, the more that I wish we had a new site. The sale of MOD land was a great opportunity lost IMO.
