I have always looked forward to away days at Chester and Torquay, but any trip to a side on the South coast would be nice if the weather holds.

You are right and we must give Tommy all the support possible to ensure that he recovers well now and in the future.

However, as even Tommy has rightly pointed out football is only a game and health must come first.

Clearly Tommy Widdrington is serious about reaching the playoffs and Wembley and sees him as a sub to come off the bench when the going gets rough, as it will do.

I could see Tommy at Southend definitely. Otherwise I'm struggling to see which other National League clubs Tommy would go to. I think he'd be unlikely to relocate for some of the bigger clubs like Oldham, Hartlepool or York. And all of the southern clubs in the division would be a backwards or sid...
