Re: Mancheater City

About time the rules were modified. The goal keeper had a few fingers over the line and some say he should have a red card, what nonsence it would have ruined the game. For serious handling( the whole body) right outside the box a penalty would be more appropriate. But yes red card for foul play. At...

Re: Season Tickets

I think the BOD need to have a serious rethink if their intention is to increase the basic attendance price to £25.In my view the BOD need to prioritise inticing a fraction of the Wembley trippers back to watch regularly.I hope that Tommys budget is improved as a result of the significant income ge...

Re: How to turn irregular into regular supporters

A guy I work with said he loved how our manager was in a suit and really thankful to the fans on Sunday. Shows he’ll appeal to the ‘more traditional’ football fans. Also, where has Phoebe the Phoenix gone? Bring her back! Tommy always wears a suit.He is a great ambassador for our Club.Noted he stay...

I don't know how they can afford to do that with 1,500 crowds and fighting relegation again.
Most likely they manage on lower players wages.

Re: Open top bus tour details

From what I saw and watching ITV South confirmed that a modest estimate of about 30,000 attended throughout the streets of Aldershot. In particular parents brought out their children in droves and so many smiling faces, what a party!

Re: Who would you keep?

Frost has been played out of position and has struggled, but injuries to other players meant there was no alternative and he did his best to fill a gap.

Next season he will revert to his natural position. So definately keep Frost.

Also Bray should be kept he will improve.

Thank you!
Seen pictures of Anthony Charles and David Puckett (wearing one of his match shirts from the 90’s!) on social media.
Josh Stokes and Laurent Tolaj were at the game as well.
And I met Mr Bridges in a hotel lift.

The Army! The Army!

I will keep it short.

Stalemate first half.

Tommy changed the tactics and what a second half, could have scored at least six.Great play by the team, but Tommy Widdrington showed for all to see how lucky we are to have him as our manager.

What a party for us fans at Wembley.

Re: Tommy's Pre-Match Interview

Damned if you do, damned if you don’t. I think Tommy’s point is that he’s one man making one decision - if other individuals don’t agree with that decision it doesn’t make them right and him wrong. If TW had picked full strength sides for those games and picked up injuries to key players he’d be ge...

Everyone enjoy Sundays big game and roar Shots on, and if we win, lets rip it up at Wembley, but in a nice way of course.

Re: Who would you keep?

I’m still baffled by Tommy stating that Corbett is a better finisher than Tolaj!! Never in a month of Sundays!!!! Probably just another trivial stick by a sad small minority of the "sack him brigade" to justify their anti campaign. Lets get behind our manager as Wembley gets ever so close...

Re: Rec Pitch

A football club is a business, and like any other business responds to rising costs by raising prices. No, I don’t want to pay more to go to football, but then again I don’t want to pay more for my groceries, utilities, beers etc, but it is a fact of life. Unfortunately rising prices (aka inflation...

Re: The 2025 FA Trophy Final - Aldershot Town v Spennymoor Town (Match Day Thread)

I now have a quandary, I have been invited to a VE Day veterans event (no, I’m not one) on the same day as the final. It’s going to be a pretty special day with a lot of lads who aren’t going to be around much longer. What to do? I would put VE Day first but I am glad that I don`t have to make your...
