Re: April Fools
Following ATFC's rather limp Spring Water prank this morning, I felt suitably enthused (don't worry it won't last long) to pass on a rather good April Fool I saw this morning on Twatter. It was from Andrew Bridgen - you know, the former Conservative MP that turned into a foaming at the mouth anti-v...

Not sure why Laing was selected after his first half performance at Wealdstone. Looks well off it.

Re: Wealdstone 1-3 Aldershot Town - Tuesday 25th March 2025 (MatchNight Thread)
It's not often you can watch the Shots and relax, but that second half was one of them. We were in total control and at no point once we went 2-1 up did I think we would relinquish the lead. I thought the management of substitutions was excellent. At certain points there were subs stripped and waiti...

Brilliant second half performance. The turning point was of course Henry coming on but coincided with them losing Cook, their best defender. It just seemed to open up after he went off. Great performances all round, was impressed with Anderson but Armitage man of the match for me. He’s got a big fut...

Re: Wealdstone v Aldershot Town - Tuesday 25th March 2025 (MatchNight Thread)
is this all on the back of Marcus letting all three shots he faced in on Saturday? I think it's a bit of that but also the coded messages in TW's post match interviews about players being 'lauded'. I also found it odd that Marcus was put in the Hampshire Cup team - not sure what that was all about....

I wonder whether we might see JVS in goal for this one. Got a feeling.
Re: Widds Jr.
The irony of a thread about a topic asking people to stop discussing that topic! But ultimately, the Theo topic will come up again and again, be that on a new topic, or a match day thread, or wherever else it is relevant all the time it remains relevant. A lot of people feel very frustrated by Theo...
Re: Widds Jr.
Do you really believe this? Do you believe Tommy picks Theo on his football ability alone ?. do you believe he's more likely to pick him because people complain? I don't. That sounds completely barmy to me to the point where I wonder about the people suggesting it. Do I think he is inclined to favo...
Re: Widds Jr.
Indeed it is pointless because the more we complain the more likely his dad is to pick him. That’s how it works with TW.
Re: Widds Jr.
It's quite simple for me: he's a National League South player. No other manager has signed him and wouldn't surprise me if he has divided the dressing room. Players have been played out of position to accommodate him and he certainly finds it easier to get back into the team than say Johnny Stuttle...

Tommy already clearly trying to convince the fans of Theo's place in the team for the coming weeks by saying in his post match interviews that the lads that came on improved us. Henry on for Laing - don't think Henry contributed a great deal, although the shuffling of personnel into different posit...

Tommy explaining how our bumpy pitch is hindering us at present, it probably needs some rain on it now https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/p0kzthd1?partner=uk.co.bbc&origin=share-mobile Who is he referring to when he says certain players that were being lauded over didn’t perform? And did he ment...
