Re: MATCHDAY THREAD - Gateshead vs ATFC - Sat 16th 3pm KO
This is a genuine question. When I leave the East Bank at the end of a game how would I get to chat through my observations with the management or players, where would I go? I have only ever spoken to players when bumping into them by chance…..a couple of fairly recent examples being on Chesterfiel...

Re: MATCHDAY THREAD - Gateshead vs ATFC - Sat 16th 3pm KO
Not a terribly sensible post. To many of us, the logistics of meeting up individually with the manager and players do not add up. Quite apart from anything else, emotions can run high after a game and neither side may be as rational as one might hope. Also, this line of advice (often advocated by J...

Junior captain as well. Has done absolutely nothing to deserve that. Undisciplined, half paced, can't tackle, can't pass and watches the game go on around him.

Re: MATCHDAY THREAD - Gateshead vs ATFC - Sat 16th 3pm KO
Maghoma, Widdrington, Scott, Akpan all starting. Might as well give them the points now.
Hargreaves on the bench has obviously done something to upset the boss.

Re: MATCHDAY THREAD - Gateshead vs ATFC - Sat 16th 3pm KO
Hopefully they’ve not wasted the prize money from the meaningless cup on a hotel and borrowed training ground. When we do, we still lose.
4-0 defeat.
4-0 defeat.
Re: Bashley
When it's put like that you have to wonder why we're struggling so much in the league. It brings home just how much League experience there is in the squad and how baffling it is that we're in this position.

Re: Bashley
I’m all for treating the Hampshire Cup seriously but this is ridiculous. If he rests Henry on Saturday then we know TW’s definitely lost the plot.
Re: Bashley
What’s changed? TW can’t find a win anywhere else. He’s desperate.

Re: Waving the white flag
Will the chairman actually hold his hands up and say there is going to be no ground development, no EFL football and we will still have heavy debts in 2026? At the moment he's heading for complete and utter failure on all counts. Or are we all meant to forget he ever said it? I think that might be t...

Re: Aldershot Town 0-2 Wealdstone - Saturday 9th November 2024 (Match Day Thread)
Think that's 5 blanks in last 6 home games 8 points from 11 No shots on target last 2 games Selection of Maghoma a mystery Takes off Barham for Ghandour Dropping Dewhurst for JVS Continues to pick his son Suspect TW wants out However every manager struggles under Azeem so must ask how are his 3 tar...

Re: Aldershot Town 0-2 Wealdstone - Saturday 9th November 2024 (Match Day Thread)
This side is destined for relegation but it can be avoided if TW accepts the reality, loses the stubbornness and ships the sub standard players out (there’s plenty to choose from) and gets some fresh faces in. If he won’t, then he has to go. Apart from the keeper there is nothing good about this sid...

TW doesn’t know what he’s doing. Just shuffling the pack and hoping now. Probably only 2 or 3 players that are NL standard. This could be the season where we don’t get lucky.
