Re: Chocked up

That's unbelievable, my original estimate of 11k is going to get blown out of the water. Whatever happens on the field it's going to be a very special day, there will be tears of joy leading up to kick-off. Absolutely. I think me and my Dad might share a cry when we see the arch. for real. The day ...

Re: How we conceded 7 (seven) at York

We caught York on a good day, but our young back three were left woefully exposed by the midfield and wing backs. For a couple of goals and a few of York's near misses, Theo was strolling but was the first to point fingers. When he's in that kind of mood he's the worst player we have by some distan...

Re: Levi Laing

Yeah, I'm worried Ellison isn't fit after the york catastrophe so he would've been handy to have around. He was shaky for sure but has a decent pedigree and played well enough in his last game.

Re: How we conceded 7 (seven) at York

Indeed, like listening to Gary Neville and carragher, it’s all nonsense Kevin what's all nonsense? 1) "we were **** on the day and York played rather well" - well that's really helpful isn't it? Do you think that's Tommy's diagnosis too? Lads, lads, don't be **** next time? What makes us ...

Re: How we conceded 7 (seven) at York

I have a theory on the 2-7 defeat against York city, it’s a bit old fashioned but I would say we were **** on the day and york played rather well Would have saved a lot of typing Pete !!! these people with too much time on their hands  Indeed, like listening to Gary Neville and carragher, it’s...

Re: How we conceded 7 (seven) at York

My good mate has decided against going with his kids as it will have cost them over £ 6,000 gor flights, hotels, etc. to watch the number 6 dawdling around in Wembley. The money can be spent on something really worthwhile rather than someone taking the mickey. well that seems a bit short sighted to...

How we conceded 7 (seven) at York

Got the week off for Easter holidays, had a nice morning with the family, but everyone's relaxing now. Letting 7 goals in was bugging me so I went back to the highlights to see if I could draw any conclusions. I know nobody will be arsed to read all this but I thought it was useful in my own mind to...

Re: well at least we aren't wasting money on agents like everyone else...

You can see on transfermarkt that most of our players have an agent. https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/aldershot-town/berateruebersicht/verein/3717 You often find that clubs are comfortable working with certain agents and sure enough we have 6 players who are with Momentum Sports Management (Jenkins, ...

Re: The 2025 FA Trophy Final - Aldershot Town v Spennymoor Town (Match Day Thread)

Is anyone else considering sitting in the neutral section rather than the designated Aldershot Town section? It's the same price but a much better view. Perhaps we could turn the neutral section into the ATFC part of the ground? do they go on sale same time? I am interested in level 2 seats for sur...

Re: First Wembley game

I think we did some schoolboy internationals but first proper game was Luton v Arsenal Littlewoods Cup Final in 1988 with my dad. Absolutely insane game which people still talk about today.
